UNFPA Thailand is inviting individuals of all ages to join the conversation on demographic shifts and future sustainability. Show us your creativity, share your unique perspective, and amplify the voices of all generations!
The Challenge Topic & Question
Create a short video clip (maximum 2 minutes) answering the following question:
"In a world of demographic change, how can different generations support each other to build a sustainable future with rights and choices for all?"
Guided Areas of Focus
To help shape your storyline, your video may focus on one or several of the following key areas supported by UNFPA:
- Good Health & Well-being: Promoting physical and mental wellness across all stages of life.
- Intergenerational Solidarity: Fostering understanding, collaboration, and mutual support between youth, adults, and the elderly.
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR): Ensuring access to body autonomy, reproductive health services, and reliable information.
- Gender Equality: Championing equal rights, opportunities, and fair treatment for all genders.
- No Gender-Based Violence (GBV): Raising awareness to end all forms of violence and discrimination based on gender.
- Family Diversification: Recognizing and supporting the beauty of diverse family structures in modern society.
Submission Criteria & Guidelines
To ensure your entry qualifies, please follow these guidelines:
- Three Generations Required: Each video must feature participants representing at least three distinct generations (e.g., youth, parents, and grandparents) to showcase solidarity in action.
- Bilingual Submissions: Content can be produced in either Thai or English.
- Platform & Privacy: Post your completed video on TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram Reels. Ensure the privacy setting is set to Public.
- Confirm Entry: Once posted, send a link to your video directly to the UNFPA Thailand Facebook Inbox or Instagram Direct Message (DM).
- Official Hashtags: Include #UNFPAThailand and #WPD2026 in your caption.
Timeline
- Submission Deadline: June 28, 2026
- Winners Announcement: July 5, 2026
Winners will receive:
- Certificate of Recognition: An official certificate from UNFPA Thailand along with a unique study visit opportunity.
- Event Invitation: An exclusive invitation to attend and participate in the official World Population Day event on July 16, 2026.
