The Nairobi Summit is the 25th International Conference on Population and Development. There are more than 5,000 delegates from all around the world and more than 150 world leaders joining the conference. there is also a launch of statement to end "three zeros" including zero unmet need for family planning; zero maternal death that is preventable and zero gender-based violence. By the end of the conference over 1,200 commitments were made by government donors, businesses, non-governmental organizations and other actors to support the "three zeros".
The summit represents a continuation of the global promise made 25 years ago in Cairo where the world agrees that the sexual and reproductive health is a human right. Thailand has been praised for its success in family planning and reproductive health program as well as the universal health coverage scheme. In the Nairobi Summit, Thailand endorses the Nairobi statement and declare its commitment to provide sexual and reproductive health for all.
Although representatives from 170 countries show that commitment to enter sexual and reproductive health for all, not every country endorses the statement. Thailand takes this opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to Kenya's government on the collaboration of the Universal Health Care coverage.

Our well-funded Universal Health system ensures that everyone on the Thai soil has accessed to all essential health service including sexual and reproductive health without financial barrier.”
Dr. Natalia Kanem, UNFPA Executive Director: “The path to pursue the Nairobi statement is challenging but she insists that together we will make sure that promises made are promises kept.”
